A message from Kate Charlton...
I am setting some strength and conditioning classes which are for athletes wanting to improve their sporting performance.
So if you want to improve your swim times, running PB, set a new TT PB or beat your mate up the hill or smash that next TRI, these classes are for you.
The conditioning classes will improve your physical movement competence helping you develop a robust foundation for your sporting activity. The class format is varied encompassing a broad range of activities including flexibility, mobility, balance and proprioception, control, agility, coordination, strength, power, speed and plyometric work.
Mondays nights at Tyne Green/Mart (weather depending)
1700-1745 – Kids (Year 5-Year 9) and parents
1800-1900 – 14years + and Adults
1900-2000 – 14yrs+ and Adults
Max numbers around 20 people/session.
Kids your first session is a freebie and adults you can pay as you train for the first session to give it a try.
I am implementing a pre-payment format for a number of reasons including the fact that neuromuscular and physical benefits become evident after 4-8weeks of consistent training, so if you pre-pay you are more likely to turn up and thus reap the benefits of all your hard work. However, I appreciate life can get in the way hence a 15 week window to get the sessions in. For me if I know how many people and who I can regularly expect I can design the sessions better to suit the attendance.
Adults 10 sessions, £70 with 15 weeks to use up the sessions.
Kids (up to 18 in full-time education) 10 sessions, £50 with 15 weeks to use up the sessions.
I am also going to trial a shared pre-payment option so you can share with your other half.
The conditioning classes are suitable for athletes of all ages and abilities who want to improve their physical capacity and movement quality in order to perform optimally at their chosen sporting activity.
Come and give it a try!
Tell your friends!
